More about our unique childcare services

Flexible Care
We provide flexible childcare to the highest possible standards within the rules and regulations of the Care Commission and HM Inspectorate of Education, supported by the Moray Council through the Moray Childcare Partnership. We use a sessional framework between 9am and 4.30pm to provide stability for the children and you can book any extra care you need in half hour blocks. Naturally, we have comprehensive written Policies and Procedures that cover all aspects of our care, so that you know how we do things. We update all our policies regularly and copies of our Manual are available at all our centres for you to view whenever you like.

Staff
Our staff are not just registered with and qualified to the standards laid down by the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) - we also pick them for their experience as well as their warmth and friendliness. We provide continual training and development for all our staff so that we benefit from the latest in national childcare practices and everyone achieves personal development. The SSSC works closely with the Care Commission, and regulates our staff in the same way as the Care Commission regulates our service. You can read more about the SSSC's Codes of Practice here...

Open All Year
Unlike most other nurseries and childcare providers, we open all year round, closing only at Christmas and Hogmanay.

Woodside opens at 7am and closes at 7pm Monday to Friday (on demand).

Cherry Tree opens at 7am and closes at 8pm Monday to Sunday (on demand). We believe that this centre is the only one to open in Moray at the weekend!
